Fujifilm's Complete 16 goes HD

Fujifilm Motion Picture has announced major changes to 'Complete 16', the company's popular 16mm film and processing package.

The offer now includes Best Light HD Transfer and encoding to a hard drive. In addition to this new HD service, Complete 16 now offers filmmakers a 60% discount on 16mm camera rental from Panavision, ARRI Media, Movietech, Take2 and Ice Film. The camera rental vouchers are issued with each Complete 16 order and include discount on 16mm Camera Body, Head & Legs and Matte Box.

Complete 16 is run in conjunction with the UK based laboratories ilab, Technicolor and Deluxe Soho and is designed to offer the quality, flexibility and logistical benefits of film origination at a preferential price.

The HD service costs 170 (plus VAT) and includes 400ft of 16mm Fujifilm Stock, Negative Developing, Ultra-Sonic Clean and Prep for TK, Best Light HD Transfer, Sound Sync and Encode to Hard Drive as Apple ProRes 422, Avid Media, or 10bit Uncompressed Quicktime File.

The original SD service is still available at a cost of 125 (plus VAT). This includes 400ft of 16mm Fujifilm Stock, Negative Developing, Ultra-Sonic Clean and Prep for TK, Best Light Transfer to any SD Tape Format, Sound Sync and a DVD Viewing Copy.

Complete 16 is open to a wide range of productions including Feature Films, TV Dramas, Short Films, Music Promos, Web Idents, Artist and Student Films. There is no minimum order quantity so fimmakers can order as many rolls as they wish.
