New Communication Channels for PMA in the UK
The Photo Marketing Association International UK (PMA) has launched a new Blogsite together with an improved electronic newsletter. Both projects have been designed to improve the levels of communication between the Association, its members and the UK imaging industry at large.
The website (www.pmai.org.uk) carries a host of useful information about PMA and the recently announced National Photography Month (a joint venture organised by PMA and Photo Imaging Council). It also features regularly updated photo industry news plus information on new product launches, specific to the retail, photofinishing and schools markets.
The site also contains information of the PMA affiliated organisations, Association of Imaging Professionals (AIP) and Professional School Photographers Association International (PSPI).
The redesigned and enhanced 'eNewsline' - PMA’s electronic newsletter - is sent to members each month and keeps them up-to-date with all the latest industry information.
Nigel McNaught, chairman of PMA UK, commissioned WPS Media, the leading photo industry marketing specialists, to design, build and populate the site and newsletter: “Introducing an interactive Blog site and re-designing our e-Newsletter adds another dimension to the communication with our members. I am very pleased with the result. We have worked alongside Darron Hartas and his team at WPS Media for many years and they have done an excellent job in producing them, I am sure PMA members will appreciate these new features to their membership.”
WPS Media are also in the process os setting up the website for National Photography Month, which formally launches in September.
